Owenton, Kentucky is a town I hold close to my heart. The town where the postal man knows my name, the coffee shop knows my order, and I feel more at home than anywhere else. The hidden gems are endless, some of my favorites being the small restaurants that are so wonderful!

A coffee shop that not only serves good coffee, but also serves some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My personal favorite is the Metro Club with barbecue chips and a sweet tea.

The Smith House is family owned and has stayed in the family since 1968.
My personal favorite is the club sandwich with onion rings and the Kentucky nut pie is the best!
