10 Things You (Probably) Don't Know About Me

You all asked to know and see more of me across Caroline-YesLikeTheSong. To kick that off I will be sharing 10 things you probably don't know about me!

1.) I love to waterski, I started waterskiing at five years old and have been ever since. I slalom waterski every weekend of summer. It's my relaxation outlet of choice. I'm a total lake/water girl, anything that puts me on a boat or behind it makes me so happy!

2.) I suffered from a head injury my freshman year of high school. This lead to me having little memory of my freshman & sophomore years of high school. This injury also meant that I had to relearn how to read.

3.) I have ADHD that went undiagnosed till I was 16 years old. I find that this "disability" is also one of my greatest strengths. It's been found that many successful people in history likely had undiagnosed ADHD. It means that I'm driven and never back down from a challenge.

4.) I love a good excel/numbers spreadsheet. Don't ask me why, I have no idea, but I can make a damn good spreadsheet (secretly I enjoy making them!). It's how I keep track of finances, organize, and evaluate in my personal and business life.

5.) I'm a talker. I will talk to anyone and I'm SUPER loud. I will always tell you what I think even if it isn't exactly the majority opinion. The older I get the more I own my humor, especially if I'm comfortable with you, I love a good laugh, I always have a side comment, and if there's a lawl in conversation I will probably tell you some funny story from my life to get a laugh out of you. I've never been afraid to laugh at myself.

6.) I'm a complete klutz, (hot mess express for the win!) I fall UP the stairs & down them.

7.) I've walked on my toes my entire life. Tried to get it fixed through physical therapy 2 or 3 times, finally accepted that this is the way I am & I'm okay with that. The one perk of this: I'm actually better at walking in heels than I am in flats.

8.) Cooking & Baking relaxes me. If I was stressed when I lived at home, I baked cookies. In high school I did the grocery shopping, and some of the cooking. Now that I'm away at school, I've realized that cooking & baking actually puts me so at ease, and it's something that I need to take the time to do.

9.) I grew up listening to Kenny Chesney, I still love his music. It brings me straight back to a day on the lake and time with my family. It's become part of my morning routine to make a cup of coffee, turn on Kenny Chesney, make eggs & sometimes read a book.

10.) Never did I realize I was a foodie till I moved to Lexington. Being from Cincinnati, where there's so many good authentic options everywhere. It's definitely been something I didn't appreciate about Cincinnati till I left. (Anyone with a good food recommendation in Lexington, hit a girl up!)

I hope this gives you a little more insight into who I am. Comment below any questions you have!

Much love,

Caroline
